Week six of STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE: PRO-US 2020 season three is here and all six teams continue to fight for a spot in the playoffs. Oil King’s Team UYU took on HotDog29’s Team PSYCHO SHINOBI in this episode’s first Team Battle. Following that up was Punk’s ALPHA 3 versus Big Bird’s Team NASR. There’s still a lot of time left in the season for fortunes to change for any team so let’s take a look at what happened in this week’s episode.

TEAM UYU vs TEAM PSYCHO SHINOBI
Banned Characters: Guile and Rashid
With two players who use Rashid as their main character, Team UYU is hit especially hard when that character is banned. So far they have not found a way to win without Rashid. Opponents will not be able to ban Rashid a second time so the back-half of the season should be much stronger for UYU. This week against PSYCHO SHINOBI the highlight for UYU was Kami who played strong, defeating Caba easily in the first round and only narrowly falling to Xian.
HotDog29’s PSYCHO SHINOBI got an important win against Oil King’s Team UYU with a score of 3-1. UYU’s Guile ban hampered Caba greatly in the first round as once again his Ryu has a tough time competing at this level. Caba’s loss to Kami was the only low point for PSYCHO SHINOBI as Xian and HotDog29 went on to win the next three matchups to secure the victory.

TEAM ALPHA 3 vs NASR
Banned Characters: Seth and Kolin
Punk’s ALPHA 3 had a rough first week but has won the last two Team Battles. The Team has looked more relaxed and focused and it has translated into wins. Big Bird’s NASR was the reverse situation, winning in week one but dropping the last two. Even with these losses, NASR is without a doubt one of the strongest overall teams in season three with AngryBird being the standout performer so far.
This Team Battle was a real barn burner with most of the matchups being very close despite the scores displayed. NASR took the first two rounds and were incredibly well positioned but they ran into a brick wall named Punk. Each member of Team NASR put up a valiant effort but Punk managed to claw his way to victory against each in turn. Punk was able to pull off a hard fought OCV to give another win to ALPHA 3.

TEAM STANDINGS
Team ALL-IN remains at the top of the leaderboard at 4-0 but with Punk’s OCV performance this week ALPHA 3 is still just one game behind at 3-1. PSYCHO SHINOBI’s win this week moves them up to third place at 2-2 just ahead of DYNAMITE after tie-breakers. NASR falls to fifth place at 1-3 after an tough loss and UYU is still hunting for their first win at 0-4.
