Street Fighter League: US-Pro 2019 returns for its second season August 29th. Teams Inferno (Punk, JB and Brolylegs) and Gale (NuckleDu, Rob TV, Shine) roll over into Season 2 as the reigning top teams.
Four new captains join the fray for Season 2. Capcom Pro Tour veterans Smug, 801 Strider and CJ Truth will be making their SFL debut as team captains. Additionally, SFL alumni, Dual Kevin, returns as a captain after a strong showing on this year’s CPT. The new captains will form new teams from a pool of online warriors and fan favorites.
The top two teams from the U.S. league will join the top teams from the Japan league in the Street Fighter League World Finals at this year’s Capcom Cup. The four teams will battle for a prize pool worth $135,000 with the top team taking $90,000. Second place will be awarded $24,000 and both third place teams will be awarded $12,000.
Congratulations, and best of luck to all our Season 2 players!
