We are only two weeks away from the playoffs and the teams are feeling the pressure as time grows short. For several teams in the middle of the bracket its make or break time as only the top four teams will move on to the playoffs. The Team Battles this week started with Team PSYCHO SHINOBI taking on UYU followed by DYNAMITE versus ALL-IN.

TEAM PSYCHO SHINOBI vs UYU
Banned Characters: Akuma and M.Bison
HotDog29’s Team PSYCHO SHINOBI needed this win to have a shot at getting into the playoffs in a few weeks. Last week they scored a clutch win over second place Team ALL-IN, which is sure to have given them a confidence boost going into this Team Battle. Oil King’s UYU is having a rough season three, still looking for their first win.
UYU has been very close to winning a few of its Team Battles but have not been able to close it out. Here against PSYCHO SHINOBI they once again got within sight of victory only to have it slip away. This Team Battle started off all UYU with Kami and Oil King eliminating HotDog29 and Caba 2-0, leaving only Xian standing for PSYCHO SHINOBI.
In week eleven Xian had a clutch win against ALL-IN’s iDom to pave the way for a big win and this week he delivered again. Being the last remaining player facing off against an entire team is daunting but Xian almost made it look easy here as he got the OCV win with straight 2-0 scores. This was a huge win for PSYCHO SHINOBI in this final stretch.

TEAM DYNAMITE vs ALL-IN
Banned Characters: Seth and Birdie
Smug’s Team DYNAMITE took a tough loss last week in an absolutely thrilling Team Battle against NASR that dropped them down to fourth place in the standings. Coming into this week at second place, iDom’s Team ALL-IN is almost certain to make the playoffs but after winning their first five Team Battles of the season they have lost three in a row.
This Team Battle was a see-saw with both teams trading wins. In the end it would come down to the two captains, Smug against iDom, in a final showdown. It was an incredible series with a lot of momentum swings. Smug put up a valiant fight with some impressive defense against iDom’s smothering offense but it was not enough. iDom eliminated Smug in an exciting match with a 2-1 score.
The win here was an important one for ALL-IN as it breaks their three loss streak with the playoffs within sight. DYNAMITE is still hanging on the fourth place position but their position is precarious. Every round will be crucial to them in these final weeks if it comes down to tie-breakers.

TEAM STANDINGS
ALPHA 3 is still in first place with a 7-1 score while ALL-IN moves back into second place at 6-3. NASR drops down to third place at 5-3. DYNAMITE and PSYCHO SHINOBI are both at 4-5 but DYNAMITE remains at fourth place due to tiebreakers with PSYCHO SHINOBI in fifth. Team UYU remains in sixth place at 0-9.
