STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE: PRO-US 2020 season 3 continues with more thrilling Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Team Battles. We are now in the second half of the season and the teams continue to compete for one of four playoff spots. The top two teams will face the top two teams from Japan in the Finals and a shot at its $150,000 prize pool. This week’s pair of Team Battles features NASR against ALL-IN and ALPHA 3 versus PSYCHO SHINOBI.

TEAM ALPHA 3 vs PSYCHO SHINOBI
Banned Characters: Guile and Kolin
Team ALPHA 3 hasn’t lost a Team Battle since the very first week of season 3 and they avenged that loss by beating the until-then undefeated ALL-IN in week eight. That streak continues after this week’s 3-2 win over HotDog29’s PSYCHO SHINOBI.
The Team Battle started off fairly one sided for ALPHA 3 with Nephew and Punk defeating Caba and HotDog29 each with 2-0 scores. The situation took a drastic turn when facing off against Xian, who has a lot of experience in high-pressure situations. Xian bested CJ Truth 2-1 and then beat Nephew 2-0, leaving only Xian and Punk remaining. Punk and Xian faced off in a tense Seth mirror match but Punk came out on top and delivered another win for ALPHA 3.

TEAM NASR vs ALL-IN
Banned Characters: G and Rashid
Team NASR gets a huge win this week with a 3-1 win over ALL-IN. They have now turned a three game losing streak into a three game winning streak capped off by defeating one of the league’s top teams. NASR’s team chemistry is also something to see, with each player loudly cheering on each big hit. All three players looked strong in this Team Battle with Big Bird’s Kage looking much improved over prior showings. It can’t be overstated how big this win was for NASR. They are now just one game behind ALL-IN and have a tremendous amount of momentum.
iDom’s Team ALL-IN took its first loss to Punk’s ALPHA 3 in week eight and now they’ve dropped their second straight here. SKZ’s Seth was the highlight for the team this week, getting the 2-1 win over Big Bird and losing a close match at the end to Samurai’s Akuma. ALL-IN is still in a good position at second place on the standings but we shall see how they react to this losing streak next week against PSYCHO SHINOBI.

TEAM STANDINGS
ALPHA 3 is now solidly in first place at 6-1 with their win this week. ALL-IN, even after this week’s loss, remains in second place at 5-2. NASR moves up the standing and is in third place at 4-3 while DYNAMITE drops to fourth place at 3-3. PSYCHO SHINOBI is in fifth place at 2-5 and UYU is still looking for their first win at 0-6.
