STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE is back after a short winter break and the race for one of four playoff spots is on! The playoffs are only a few weeks away and the pressure is being felt by every team. Every round of each Team Battle is important as they fight for the highest position in the standings. This week’s episode features Team UYU against Team DYNAMITE and Team ALL-IN versus Team DYNAMITE.

TEAM UYU vs DYNAMITE
Banned Characters: Cammy and Akuma
This was a critical Team Battle for both UYU and DYNAMITE this week. Oil King’s UYU was still looking for its first win and time is running short. Smug’s Team DYNAMITE came into this week at 3-3 on the heels of a team sweep win against PSYCHO SHINOBI.
Once again UYU came incredibly close to pulling off wins in some of these matchups but they could not close the deal. Kami’s Seth mirror-match against GamerBee was a thriller that came down to the wire. JB played a tense match against MenaRD’s currently undefeated Sakura. Oil King came out strong with his Rashid against Smug’s Balrog that came down to the final game. In many instances the margin between victory and defeat was so narrow.
Smug’s DYNAMITE is in a great position at 4-3 after the win this week. This is their second win in a row and both of them have been 3-0 team sweeps, which will certainly be a big confidence boost going forward. They have been firing on all cylinders recently. With all members of their team having a strong secondary character it is very hard to hinder them with a ban, especially MenaRD and his deep pocket of characters.

TEAM ALL-IN vs PSYCHO SHINOBI
Banned Characters: Laura and M.Bison
Sitting at 2-5 in the standings coming into this week, HotDog29’s PSYCHO SHINOBI absolutely needed to win the Team Battle this week. To add pressure to the situation they faced off against iDom’s Team ALL-IN. ALL-IN came in at second place but has lost the last two, showing that they are far from unbeatable.
ALL-IN started well with 801 Strider’s G defeating HotDog29’s Kolin 2-0 in the first matchup but after that it was all PSYCHO SHINOBI. Caba, now free to use his Guile after being banned for the first half of the season, strutted his stuff in this Team Battle with 2-0 wins against SKZ and against 801 Strider to secure the team’s win. Xian’s heart-stopper with Seth against iDom’s Poison in the third matchup was also crucial and razor close. Xian won the match with an incredible punish with a Critical Art in the very last round with just a sliver of life remaining.
PSYCHO SHINOBI improves to 3-5 with two wins in a row behind them. They still have a lot of work to do to secure a playoff spot but it is certainly possible. ALL-IN is still in a good position at 5-3 but dropping three straight losses has got to have a mental impact.

TEAM STANDINGS
ALPHA 3 is in first place at 6-1 and ALL-IN remains in second place even after the loss this week. DYNAMITE moves up to third place due to tie-breakers and NASR goes to fourth place with both sitting at 4-3. PSYCHO SHINOBI is still in fifth place but is in a position to move up at 3-5 and UYU is in last place at 0-7.
