The aftermath of day six had a tremendous impact on the standings with the US Finals just a few days away on Sunday. BANDITS remained unbeaten and was solidly in first place and RED ROOSTER was still in last place after day six, but the order of every team in between changed. 2GAME got two shutouts in a single day yesterday and they moved up to second place. KUAISHOU GAMING has been very successful in round two so far. They came into day seven tied with third place FLYQUEST in points but in fourth after tiebreakers.
The second round of the season will take place over four days starting on Wednesday, December 3rd and finishing on Saturday, December 6th. The US Finals will take place on Sunday, December 7th. Be sure to cath all of the action live on Capcom Fighters on Twitch and Youtube.
MATCH 1: SHOPIFY REBELLION (HOME) vs RED ROOSTER (AWAY)

RED ROOSTER got a crucial win against SHOPIFY REBELLION in the home stretch of last season to help keep them out of the Finals. In the first Team Battle of day seven RED ROOSTER got a huge 30-10 win at a time when SHOPIFY REBELLION needed every point. NuckleDu’s Mai went in first to take on Craime’s Ryu. It was a back-and-forth set that went to the final round of the final game. NuckleDu won 2-1, getting a good start for SHOPIFY REBELLION. Crossover’s Mai beat JAK’s Juri in the next set, leaving it to the anchor position to decide the winner of the Team Battle. Dual Kevin with his Rashid faced Chris Wong’s Luke and Dual Kevin won the first game in two rounds. Chris Wong answered right back in the next game and would go on to win three straight, finishing 3-1.

2GAME seems to either win with a shutout or lose with one so far this season. Here they lost to BANDITS, but they came away with 10 points. Team BANDITS continues to find ways to win day after day, with this 30-10 win pushing them over 300 points on the standings. Blaz, who usually plays the anchor position, went in first with his Sagat against Caba’s Guile and won 2-0. BANDITS got payback in the next set as Booce’s Terry kept Brayan_Job on the back foot for two straight games, winning 2-0. MenaRD’s Blanka was waiting in the anchor position and Junihno-Ras’s Luke stepped in to face him. MenaRD had the momentum for almost the entirety of the set, giving Juninho-Ras very few opportunities to start offense. MenaRD won three straight games, securing the Team Battle victory 3-0.

FLYQUEST and KUAISHOU GAMING came into this Team Battle tied at 200 points with FLYQUEST ahead on the standings due to tiebreakers. With the Finals just a few days away this Team Battle was incredibly important to both teams. KUAISHOU GAMING came away with a massive 40-0 win, which pushed them well ahead of FLYQUEST into third place. Nephew’s Juri and Zhen’s M.Bison faced off in the first set. Nephew won the first game in 2 rounds, but Zhen rebounded and prevailed in the next two games to win 2-1. Up next Psycho’s Kimberly took on VXBao’s M.Bison and VXBao won 2-0. Punk’s Cammy was up against Xiao Hai’s Mai in the anchor match. It was a high octane set but Xiao Hai got the 3-1 victory to secure the shutout.

With FALCONS in sixth place and RED ROOSTER in last place on the standings and time running out, it was now or never for both teams. Both teams needed every point to stand a chance at making the Finals. Crossover gave RED ROOSTER an early 10 point lead with a convincing win with his Mai against NL’s Akuma 2-0. Chris Wong also started off strong, winning the first game with his Luke against Xian’s Dee Jay. In the second game Xian mounted a comeback and went on to beat Chris Wong 2-1. In the anchor match DCQ’s M.Bison defeated Craime’s Ryu 3-0. This 30-10 win gives FALCONS a glimmer of hope.

After seven days of competition BANDITS remains undefeated after beating SHOPIFY REBELLION with a 40-0 shutout. With this victory BANDITS also locked in first place and will officially enter the Finals on Sunday as the number one seed. The first two sets of the Team Battle showed the resilience of BANDITS. Caba got a tough 2-1 win with his Guile against JAK’s Juri in the first set. Next up Booce’s Terry narrowly beat NuckleDu’s Mai 2-1. In the anchor match MenaRD’s Blanka got a 3-1 victory against Dual Kevin’s Rashid.
