Leshar from South Korea competed at other fighting games before jumping into Street Fighter 6 in 2023, where he immediately gained attention by going undefeated in his region’s World Warrior events that year, qualifying for Capcom Cup X. In Capcom Cup X he made another strong impression against the world’s best, finishing 5th. Since then, he has qualified for the last two Capcom Cups. In 2025 he pulled off incredible back-to-back offline Premier event wins at Combo Breaker and CEO and soon after won a third at EVO France, earning the title of EVO Champion. For the last two years he competed in Street Fighter League: JAPAN, with his team taking 1st place last season. They went on to win the Street Fighter League World Championship, qualifying him for Capcom Cup 13 next year. Leshar has multiple characters to draw upon with his most used being Mai and Ed.
